Boston Marathon Competitor, Traveler
Boston Marathon qualifier, Aaron Forrest, brings endurance running to a new level, combining his fitness expertise, motivating personality, and endless humor to keep you on track. Don’t be intimidated by his pace! It’s your walk or run and his job to make it fun.
My passion and drive for health and fitness started when I was a sophomore in High School. Despite working all season to train, my results in the State Cross Country championships that year were very disappointing. I was so discouraged. However, this event fueled a desire in me to better understand how nutrition and exercise work and use them to help me compete at my very best. I continue to enjoy applying the things I have learned over the years to challenge myself physically. I ran my 5th marathon last April at the Boston Marathon. I’ve seen first hand how hard work, combined with proper nutrition and appropriate exercise pays off.
Whether I am training for a marathon, teaching a group exercise class, preparing for a fitness competition, or attending the local yoga studio with my wife, I love to be active! Implementing healthy lifestyle habits has enables me to live the most active and enjoyable life possible. It has given me the freedom to explore new places. I have had the opportunity to live in a small seaport city in northern Spain, visit a humble village in Ghana, spearfish in the reefs of the Bahamas, intern in the Senate Offices of Capitol Hill, relax in a white cliff-side villa in Santorini, and tour the fascinating history of Rome.
